Dunwoody, GA (November 5, 2011) - Boy Scout Troop 477, chartered to Kingswood United Methodist Church, is pleased to announce that John Holladay, son of Mike and Joan Holladay of Dunwoody, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the 99th Eagle Scout from Troop 477 since it was first chartered in 1972.
 

John’s Eagle Scout project consisted of remodeling and enclosing an area of unutilized space in the lower level of Kingswood United Methodist Church. This required the building of a wall, the installation of two doors with side walls and the installation of wire shelving. His project will allow the church to use the space for much needed storage.

Boy Scout Troop 477 joined with John and his family, friends, and the Scouting community in celebrating his achievement at an Eagle Court of Honor held on August 14, 2011, at Kingswood United Methodist Church.
