While in Atlanta, Lisa continued her leadership in church music, serving as choir director and/or Minister of Music for several area churches, including Cascade, Ben Hill, Andrews Chapel, and Central (all United Methodist congregations). While serving at Andrews Chapel, she experienced a call to ordained ministry and enrolled in the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

After graduation in 2003, Lisa accepted a position as Associate Pastor of Kingswood UMC in Dunwoody, Georgia. In this position, she serves as the Pastor of Worship and Evangelism, Director of Music, and staff liaison to Women’s Ministries. She was commissioned as a Probationary Elder in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church in June, 2004.

Lisa has served as worship leader for the North Georgia Annual Conference and the South Georgia Pastors’ School. She has led workshops in the areas of music, worship, and evangelism for several local districts’ training events, and for local and out-of-state church events. She sits on three conference boards and has led in several conference workshops related to discerning one’s call to ministry.

Lisa lives in Jonesboro, Georgia with her husband, Dallas, and their two daughters, Kiera and Chandler. She is excited about being in ministry at Kingswood and looks forward to each day as a new opportunity to live God’s command as recorded in Micah 6:8: Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God!
